Snickerdoodles
Mix: 1 cup shortening
1.5 cup sugar
2 eggs
Sift together and stir in:
2 3/4 cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Roll in balls. Rolls balls in mixture of 2 Tablespoons of sugar+ 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Yum!! Thanks so much! One addition...at the end, it's 2 Tablespoons of SUGAR, plus 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
My roommates and I are enjoying them (or will be in 4 minutes) now!
