Grounded
We're moving on Sunday; but I don't feel ungrounded. In fact, the last few months were a huge learning-fest of discovering why you need to make the heart of Jesus your home. When your security and your peace is in your physical surroundings and the people you're with and the way you feel, you're gonna get tossed and thrown every which way. But I have to say that the best and most restful place to be is clinging onto Jesus and letting Him take you everywhere you need to go.

Back #2
"What a great vacation!!!"
We went to a waterpark and then to a drive-in; that's what the picture really is...Chloe was super excited about the great drive-in they had in the little town -- I got to go with her family a few other families.
Me and Ariel and Suzy and OJ all went on Brian Moberg's boat!!!
that's my sister!!! (wave-boarding)
We had this night of family olympics:
this was the huge water balloon fight
The conference is this week: I have to do any more of this posting later -- airport run! Bye!
I list, I list

Incredible
I got to Tacoma on the sixth and went straight to a wedding. And I sat there and I cried. It was a nice wedding, but I wasn't crying completely about the wedding... I thought, "Look at this! I'm here! I'm HERE! Look at You, Jesus! You give me desires of my heart that I had forgotten about. I'm here."
Now it's a week-and-a-half later. I get to spend time with adorable Judah and stunning Ariel.
Now I am on a vacation...with my whole church. Almost 200 NewSongers are here at Lake Chelan. It's so fun. I've been out on boats and I tried water-skiing and I've swum a lot. But I think my biggest thing I'm excited about from this vacation is Chloe. I have been getting to know her, and I love it! It's such a gift from Jesus -- such a gift.
we went on Brian Moberg's boat and he gave a us a CRAZY ride. =)
we took this picture because both our dads made us wear life-jackets on the boat...we were very submissive and obedient... :)
they had an incredible hulk pinata for the kids...it was so cute, as exampled by Ariel in this picture. Most of the kids were little, like 3, 4, and under; they didn't really know when to stop hitting, so Brian Brennt was the referee of the hits; his mid-swing grabs of the stick were quite skillful.Monday, July 02, 2007
Da Baby
or like this
for the past five days. The poor Muffin! Apparently, she's been more fussy than she usually is, but to me, who hasn't spent much time with her, she just seemed like normal baby-fussy-ness of not wanting to go to sleep. And she has smiled so much and had so much fun -- only Liz guessed that she might have an ear infection.
Today I went to Target with my sister to pick up the medicine for Glorie. On the way back, we stopped at a new prayer room that was just opened down the street from Liz and Peter's house. We went into the offices next door and talked to some IHOP staffers and they pointed out a large picture of New York City on the wall. It seemed to be custom-made, like a picture blown up to wall-size on poster-boards. The girl we were talking to told us to check out what was in the picture - pre 9/11. So then Elizabeth brings up that the office we are in used to be an office that was found to be soliciting donations for Al Qaeda...quite something.
So, I guess we are planning on going to some gardens, maybe going to see Ratatouille, and are very, very much planning on getting some jeans.
